Requirements:
Higher Professional Technical Education (Engineering/Technical degree or equivalent).
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in construction and hook up role in complex O&G onshore/offshore project;
Required Competences:
Good technical, communicational and working skills.
A team player with a flexible attitude to work scope.
Ability to work unsupervised as required.
Confident in management of interface with contractor and Vendor personnel.
Proactive approach to decision making and team works.
Organization ability in a multi-interface and technically demanding project.
Ability to work with, and train local staff.
Ability to adapt and respond to changes in 'work-load' and schedule demands.
Knowledge of the relevant industry codes of practice, standards and procedures:
Capable to use specific PC software.
Fluent in written and spoken English language.
Responsibilities:
The job holder is responsible for Projects construction and hook up detailed planning, execution, documentation and handover to onshore production operations. Main activities will include:
Implementing , in close coordination with the Project Manager guidelines, the construction and hook up strategy, to deliver the Project’s Objectives;
Ensuring that the Construction and hook up HSE aspects are fulfilled and in alignment with the company HSE policies and procedures;
Accountable for detailed planning and implementation of the concerned construction and hook up schedule to ensure that the Project's milestones achievable and suitably integrated multidisciplinary activities and overall construction, hook up, commissioning and start-up plans and strategies;
Ensuring that any outstanding actions for construction and hook up hand over to commissioning are duly recorded in the project special database and are effectively cleared as per owner’s technical requirements.
Coordinating and supervising the team executing the relevant discipline work activities and assisting with dedicated technical support as required, including mentoring and on the job training.
Responsible for definition of construction and hook up packages and phases by subcontractor;
Managing the overall construction and hook up performance of the contractors;
Managing the timely manpower mobilization and resources in order to meet the changing construction and hook up needs;
Working closely with project contract and procurement, QA/QC, technical services and commissioning teams as well as with EPC Contractor and its subcontractors to ensure that construction and hook up priorities are properly addressed, integrated and executed;
Organizing the handover of systems and relevant documentation to be delivered to Operations for acceptance;
Assist as required onshore commissioning and supporting start up activities.
