Requirements:
Degree in Engineering in a relevant discipline, minimum HND (equivalent experience will be considered).
A minimum of 6-8 Years discipline experience incorporating procurement experience, preferably in complex. Onshore and Offshore Oil & Gas Projects.
Experience in Former Soviet Union and/or Caspian Area would be preferred.
Previous experience of working in managing procurement activities.

Knowledge and experience of Construction, Production Operations, Oil and Gas processing, Utilities and related systems.
Good technical, interpersonal and team-working skills.
Good knowledge and understanding of projects planning and executing.
Proactive approach to decisional process (in the pertinent discipline).
Working knowledge of all relevant discipline codes and standards. Plus, experience and knowledge of Multi Discipline International Construction sites.
Ability to carry out business activities in a multi-cultural environment and to exercise intercultural sensitivity in dealing with the Company’s socio/political environment.
Good fabrication and construction, interpersonal and team-working skills.
Full understanding of importance in planning and executing projects.
Working knowledge of all relevant discipline codes and standards.
Fluent spoken and written English preferred.
Ability to speak Russian a bonus.
Understanding of RoK & CIS Regulations an additional advantage.
Expert on common software to prepare and manage data bases like Microsoft Excel and Access;
Expert on common software to prepare project status presentations like Microsoft Power Point.
Responsibilities:
Providing advice and technical expertise relevant to the material to be procured;
Planning and monitoring ring the procurement activities , ensuring their compliance to the project requirements;
Preparing and reviewing expediting report (i.e. spreadsheet, table, chart, etc.) material management database, and project status presentations;
Coordinating and monitoring the activity of procurement team (i.e. expeditors, buyers, inspectors, data entries, etc.).
Attending coordination and management meetings including those that involve external parties (suppliers, manufacturers, third parties, authorities);
Ensuring all materials under procurement are in compliance with engineering design, specification, company HSE regulations and applicable International Codes and best industrial practise;
Preparing and reviewing ITT and any bid documents as well as contractual schedules;
Support in managing contractual issue and ensure that suppliers perform their activity in compliance with contractual requirements;
Liaising with Project Engineering Team, as required;
Attending site construction meetings representing Company procurement team and report back on findings/requirements;
Acting when requested as a focal point for various issues relevant to procurement issues;
Preparing and providing inputs for costs and schedule planner;
Responsible for supervision of Expat and local Senior Material Engineers/ Expeditors.
