The job holder must hold a University Degree in Electronic / Telecommunications Engineering or Computer Science
The job holder must have at least 6 years of experience in ERP technical support.
The job holder must have a solid IT services background
The job holder must have good knowledge of international standards and best practices
The job holder must have good knowledge of Technical ERP Support and Maintenance
The job holder must have good knowledge of Database and systems management
The job holder must have good interpersonal skills and uses a methodical and systematic work approach.
The job holder is able to communicate well in writing as verbal

Responsibilities:
Act as primary focal point and provide guidance to junior members of ERP technical support.
Accountable for supporting and maintaining the ERP infrastructure, so that the systems have the latest patch level and are under backup. Participate in the strategic planning for the ERP landscape.
Propose initiatives to improve the availability of the ERP landscape with respect to the current application architecture and the newly to developed solutions.
Actively manage the capacity in line with current business requirements and future business needs.
Drive the implementation of enhancements and changes by involving the internal ERP teams and external vendors. Align business requirements with application and system changes.
Evaluate the business impact by performing risk assessments.
Perform feasibility studies for requested enhancements and changes on the technical landscape.
Design and deliver the management reports based on Business Intelligence based on the business requirements in a timely matter. Propose reporting improvements to the different business units.
Manage the IT/IM team in providing 3rd level Technical Support for ERP System and Connected Portfolio following the approved IT/IM support processes.
Ensure that ERP personnel are adequately trained to be capable of providing assistance, training and instructions to end-users as needed.
Align application support with the different IT Technical functions in the drilling department, the Production Operation department, the development department and Technical Directorate.
Advisory and Technical Specialization:
Provide professional, subject matter and policy advice within own area of expertise.
Coach, educate and guide IT/IM staff on ERP technical support matters where required to ensure alignment and quality.
Maintain detailed knowledge of current practice within own area of expertise and well-developed understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks.
