Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of working experience in the oil gas industry with Process plant experience.
Recognized diploma.
Advantageous.
Audit experience.
Basic knowledge of process operations and key systems and plant.
Required Competences:
The job holder must have proven:
Good level of understanding of transportation, hoisting & lifting equipment systems.
Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.
Ability to work as a team member.
Highly motivated and positive, strong analysis and problem solving.
Auditing experience and incident investigation skills is desirable.
Computer literacy on Microsoft program: Word, Power Point and Excel.
Knowledge of RoK legislation and standards regarding transportation, hoisting & lifting equipment is essential.
Proven hoisting & lifting equipment skills.
Responsibilities:
Support and advice to the Lifting Equipment Supervisor on all lifting and hoisting activities.
Ensure hoisting and lifting equipment on site are in compliance with ROK legislation and company rules.
Implementing and maintaining a safe working register of all company movable hoisting & lifting equipment and ensure that the equipment is in good condition and inspected regularly in line with ROK legislation and company rules.
Keeping a close interface and working relationship within the maintenance department, with the aim to effectively advise and participate in creating the required hoisting & lifting plans
Maintain and control fixed hoisting and lifting equipment passports to allow availability and safe operation of hoisting & lifting equipment
Review and advise of all hoisting & lifting plans received from third parties
Conduct regularly audits and inspections on site with regards hoisting & lifting activities, including staff operating the equipment
Participate in/or assist the Risk Assessments teams to ensure that all hazards and controls are recognised and documented in accordance with best industry practice, thereafter ensuring their application. In particular remain directly involved with preparation for High risk works involving hoisting & lifting equipment
Assist on incident investigations either as Facilitator or Team Member hoisting & lifting equipment.
Providing key statistics regarding the use of hoisting & lifting equipment
Assist toolbox talks within area of responsibility hoisting & lifting equipment.
Promote and oversee the closing out of issues raised from: Audits/Inspections recommendations, Incident CAR’S and Company SAFE-R System related to hoisting & lifting equipment.
Training and coaching of staff in the organization, to ensure development and competency in relation to hoisting & lifting equipment and it safe operation.
Level I:
Usually works with minimum supervision, conferring with superior on unusual matters;
Maybe assisted by entry/junior or Intermediate level personnel;
Assignment are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity;
Has appreciable latitude for unreviewed action or decision.
