Job Accountabilities:
Leadership of NDD Project Teams that will deliver the following:
a. HSSE/SP leadership in managing HSSE performance of contractors and subcontractors involved in the Project
b. A Project Safety Program that is aligned/complies with the CompanyHSSE requirements, including the long-term asset integrity with a focus on the Technical Integrity aspects (design and construct)
c. Manage and influence the project community involved in the Design, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction and pre-Commissioning activities and be the contract holder for the (pre) FEED and subsequent EPCs and other Contracts
d. A Contracting Strategy and process aligned with Company C&P Procedures that can efficiently and effectively contract the required engineering or other support services and facilitate the procurement of equipment and material to support the project
e. A project Financial Management Framework that can provide effective and timely payments to vendors/service providers, time writing and SAP functions, cash calls etc.
f. Project Management System that meets the needs of the Project. This includes a rationalization of the required deliverables for each stage of the project
g. The CompanyTechnical Codes and Standards are reviewed and rationalized to those codes and standards that are applicable to the Project and that all required RoK standards are met
h. Ensure development and approval of regulatory documents by state agencies
i. Project permit requirements are coordinated through the Company Permitting and Regulator Group and applications for permits are aligned with the required processes and have the appropriate supporting documentation
j. Accountable for delivery of the Local Content and Vendor Development Plans as required
Support others where required, such as the General Manager or other NDD Leadership Team members with preparation of detailed written reports and slides, presentations, technical support in discussions with authorities, etc. as required.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:
Strong Project experience and relevant certification and/or company job grade level
Good knowledge of oil and gas field development, particularly the process of conceptual, pre-project development, FEED, execution and commissioning
Higher professional education (Engineering degree) and recognized professional qualification
15+ years of experience in production and development, with substantial (5+) operational and management experience
Previous experience and familiarity with codes and standards used in Company, RoK and/ or other Caspian projects
Project Management and Construction experience in Oil & Gas industry
Demonstrated HSSE leadership and HSSE performance delivery
Passion for competency development, mentoring and local content/nationalization
Experience of driving business improvement in projects
Negotiation experience; good knowledge and experience in tenders and contracts
Resilience, flexibility, and assertiveness, especially in dealing with contractors.

Ability to manage multiple discipline functions and quickly establish relationships with practitioners to ensure project execution processes and standards are consistently applied
Extensive knowledge and experience in tenders and contracts
Good knowledge of the RoK design and construction code
Good knowledge of International construction standards, best practices, systems, with an established network to call upon and deploy this knowledge within Kazakhstan.
