6 oilfield service companies out of 10 that KazService has submitted for consideration by the state Commission for economic modernization have been included in the list of system-forming enterprises and will receive state support.
In general, 361 companies are classified as system-forming enterprises, including 6 oilfield service companies:
- Isker;
- KKS-Sicim;
- Frack Jet;
- Азотный завод;
- Карьертау;
- KazProject Operating.
Today, the Union of oilfield service companies of Kazakhstan sent data on 31 more oilfield service companies for inclusion in the list.
Government support measures include providing state guarantees for loans, access to preferential liquidity, tax deferrals, simplifying and speeding up the VAT refund process, and speeding up the provision of all permits and public services.
Counter obligations of system-forming enterprises will include maintaining paid jobs, purchasing goods and services from domestic producers (if available), disclosing information, ensuring timely payments under existing contracts, and canceling dividend payments and bonuses to top management for 2019-2020.
