Qualification & Experience Requirements:
Minimum of an associate degree in engineering discipline or apprenticeship combined demonstrated
international construction experience in Oil & Gas industry working for a major operator.
Key essential requirement is a documented and demonstrated development of Tie-In execution strategies for Brownfield Projects (PCN’s) – preferably under Technical Authority Status (TA2 level) for “Golden Weld Execution Strategies”.
Significant field experience gathered from a wide range of locations, minimum 6-8 years relevant experience in all phases (pre/post FID) of the project life cycle including international experience, preferably with a period spent in a brown field construction environment and/or Turn Around team.
Documented theoretical & hands-on expertise in Welding Engineering, Material Selection and Corrosion Management – as the three (3) pillars of “Hot Works” execution.
Demonstrated strong personal commitment to HSSE Leadership and experience in managing HSSE throughout all project phases.Experience of driving business and work process improvement in project execution and construction, key words being: HSSE driven mind-set, fit-for-purpose solutions, simplification, lean methods and
cost effectiveness.
Demonstrated (timely) delivery capability to enable contribution to successful preparation (adherence to stringent Turnaround milestone planning) and completion of projects for Turnarounds.
Demonstrated ability and capability to step into Procurement, Engineering and other disciplines to remove barriers.
Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor staff, driving the development of local talent in preparation for them to nationalize its position.
Team player with clear evidence of working with others to deliver on goals.
Experience building and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, which include Engineering contractor and Construction contractor staff.
Experience in project management, engineering and construction of oil & gas facilities, preferably with experience of design and executability integration of multi-process unit facilities.
Track record of successfully leading subject matter specific project development and delivery.

Ability to manage multiple discipline functions and quickly establish relationships with practitioners to ensure construction processes and standards are consistently applied.
Extensive knowledge and experience in related expertise related sections tenders and contracts.
Knowledge of Industry and Shell Group business and Project delivery processes
Good knowledge of the RoK design and construction code, Shell Design and Engineering Practice, Project Delivery Roadmap Good knowledge of International construction standards, best practices, systems, and an established network.
