Qualification & Experience Requirements:
Level II
University Degree in related engineering subject (i.e. Marine, Civil, Mechanical, Offshore or Ice)
Data collection and analysis experience is required (preferably in the oil & gas industry)
At least 3 years of related experience in Ice or Metocean field.
Good knowledge of English language (verbal and written)
Proficient with MS Windows, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS word and basic programming skills
Experience in use of ArcGIS software is an advantage.

Job Accountabilities:
Ice related duties:
Offshore:
Recording and forecasting ice conditions and movements on drilling locations.
Advising on the effects of such movements and on measures to mitigate the risks.
Advising on alert status and appropriate evacuation routes in ice.
Participating in field ice management programs as required.
Analysing ice and other environmental data to provide advice relevant to the design and execution of projects.
Onshore outside of ice season:
Provide support to operational and engineering ice aspects as required
Provide input in development of ice related documentation
Provide input in development and update of HSE plans related to ice operations
Conduct analysis of ice data as required
Provide input in update and maintenance of company ice databases
Provide input in maintenance of ice equipment and inventory
Metocean related duties:
Participate and act as Client Representative during Metocean Surveys
Provide support in Metocean data QA and analysis
General:
Perform routine tasks without instruction / supervision
Perform non-routine tasks under instruction / supervision.
