Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process or facilities’ engineering discipline.
- University degree in Engineering or equivalent technical subject.
- Technically strong in own discipline as demonstrated in the Job Competence Profile (JCP).
- At least significant experience in the EP Technical Business with emphasis in the areas of process engineering, IPSM and sour hydrocarbons.
- Proven performance and capability to operate independently in own discipline.
- Expertise with IPSM and process engineering modelling tools like UniSim or Hysis.

- Good interpersonal skills, and ability to expedite activities whilst maintaining good relationships.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills appreciation of key technical details.
- Networking, communication and interface management skills; proficiency in English and Russian communications, including presentation preparation and delivery.
- Fluent Kazakh and Russian speaker for external communication purposes.

Responsibilities:
- Active member of the CPCG: Critical Permitting Coordination Group.
- Provide in-house technical input to support the process of obtaining Operating permits (DPGP, Flaring permit, Emission permit, State Acceptance, Author Supervision Report, Technical Project Description, Development Scheme, and Environmental Impact Assessment) and State Inspections.
- Build and maintain operating envelopes for surface facilities. Establish an exception based surveillance program for production operations together with the Process Engineering Discipline team.
- Support development of the permit support documentation. Review calculations of Contractors preparing permitting documents.
- Responsible for technical upkeep of the flare and emissions reporting tool (FLERT).
- Responsible for participating and providing technical support for local scheduled. inspections and unscheduled investigations at site to ensure that a consistent message is relayed to authorities.
- Provide calculations for flared/vented volumes as necessary.
- Responsible for environmental reporting, specifically on flaring.
- Maintain links to global delivery teams and to technology team within Process Engineering discipline.
- Contribute technical matters during meetings with Local and Federal Authorities; PSA; Ministry of Energy; Third Party Contractors (certified institutes).
- Contributing the planning and execution of flawless start-up and ramp-up.
- All of the above will be done in accordance with Agip KCO Corporate objectives, guidelines and required behaviours and consistent with HSE principles.
