Requirements:

The job holder must have:
 Be a qualified Sanitary Doctor with more than 3 years of experience.
 Have current expertise in RoK Sanitary Laws and Labour codes.
 Previous experience working with sanitary hygiene, potable water quality and food safety issues - preferably within the oil and gas industry.
 Strong analytical background.
 Some knowledge and experience of sampling and monitoring techniques for workplace hazards is desirable.
Knowledge and experience of food hygiene and safety issues would be an advantage as would employment experience within one of the RoK Regulatory bodies.
Required Competences:
The job holder must have proven:
 Knowledge of international oil industry related standards.
 Competence in the preparation of written reports and presentations.
 Good Communication and Presentation skills.
 Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision.
 Good written & spoken English and the ability to write technical reports on work undertaken.
 Fluency in Russian Language essential and Kazakh Language desirable.
 Good software application skills.
 Knowledge of RoK HSE and Sanitary legislation and standards.

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Head of Industrial Hygiene the job holder is responsible for:
 Focal Point and Expert with respect to Food Safety Management and Sanitary Compliance issues at site (and other areas as directed by management).
 Arranging Workplace Attestation and RoK statutory Industrial Monitoring activities across company sites.
 Undertaking sites inspections on food safety, potable water quality, workplace health conditions and industrial hazardous factor surveys to ensure legislative compliance and best practices.
 Team member in audits with respect to occupational health and hygiene related controls.
 Reviewing occupational hygiene inspection, monitoring surveys and testing for chemical, physical, biological and ergonomic hazards in all areas of Company activities as part of the overall Health Risk Assessment process.
 Provision of relevant technical expertise with respect to RoK sanitary compliance legal issues, including response, investigation and follow-up related to adverse health impacts.
 Undertaking reviews of food safety management issues throughout Company and Contractor food chain at sites, hotels and any other locations deemed appropriate by line management.
 Leading technical interventions in terms of provision of expertise top Contract Holder food safety management.
 Liaising with Company and Contractor personnel in order to control standards of Occupational Health/Hygiene and sanitary compliance at the worksite.
 Developing and delivering Occupational Health/Hygiene and Sanitary awareness training programmes to Company and Contractor personnel.
