Requirements:
The job holder must have Essentially
Registration as Medical Practitioner in RoK with qualifications/experience in emergency medicine and general practice.
Minimum 3 years postgraduate clinical experience.
Desirably
Experience in an offshore or remote site oil and gas or construction setting.
Previous experience of occupational medicine in an industrial setting.
Familiarity with international Oil and Gas industry practice/protocols.
Valid internationally recognized provider certificates in advanced trauma life support and advanced cardiac life support.
Willingness to obtain a certificate for drug and alcohol testing.
Required Competences:
The job holder must have proven:
Good communication skills with a proficiency in written and spoken English.
Knowledge of English language not lower than Intermediate.

Ability to work both as a team member or team leader when necessary.
Computer literacy including Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.
Responsibilities:
Medical
Maintain clinical registration to practice in RoK.
Maintain knowledge and skills to an appropriately high level by driving modern, international best practice through continuous medical education, keeping abreast of latest medical research and sharing best practices at clinical departmental meetings.
Be available to deliver an appropriately high standard of routine and emergency medical care at any time during rotation.
Perform out of hospital advanced trauma and cardiac life support and transportation of patient under coordination of Medical Services Management.
During medical evacuation and on activation of emergency response system, provide effective medical emergency response support and act as one team with Site Management and other parties as required by site Emergency Response Procedure.
Provide advice and supervision to First Aiders during medical and operational emergencies.
Promptly report to Head of Medical services any injuries and illnesses which are not treatable on site for approval for onward referral.
Follow up referred patients with local clinics/hospitals and update Head of Medical services.
Provide competent medical advice and counselling in line with evidence based medical recommendations.
Maintain clinic governance in site medical facilities (including medical records, clinical practices, pharmacy stock control, equipment management, infection control etc.).
Be aware of health risks, and report new potential risks as they occur.
Ensure occupational health requirements are provided and maintained in regards to Company standards and Republic of Kazakhstan regulations.
Report to Head of medical Services any operational changes which may impact the effectiveness of Medical Emergency Response.
Maintain written and digital medical records, statistics reports, and forms as per RoK and Company requirements.
Actively participate in developing and implementing Health promotion programs on site in cooperation with Health Department and in collaboration with Facilities Management.
Support HSSE in identifying and investigating work related injuries and occupational diseases through reporting to site HSSE and Head of Medical services on medical incidents, occupational health matters and regulatory / compliance issues as per RoK and Company reporting procedures.
Support Industrial Hygiene department in sanitary assurance of catering facilities being vigilant on a daily basis during visits to canteens.
