Requirements:

 The job holder must have an Engineering degree or related technical and/or scientific background.
 The jobholder must have at least 6-8 years of experience in the relevant permitting in the exploration and production or construction areas with solid technical/scientific/engineering discipline knowledge with subsequent broadening in association with other disciplines and business functions.
 Working in a multi-cultural environment to achieve targeted competency levels within a defined time frame.
Required Competences:
 Good communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to make presentations and write effective reports.
 Self-starter who is able to effectively set and deliver against their own priorities within the context of the current and planned workload.
 Ability to work efficiently and effective in a multi-cultural team environment.
 Capacity to integrate and effectively lead an international workforce.
 Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.
 Fluent English, Kazakh and Russian (spoken / written).

Responsibilities:

 Analysing, and engaging the Project activities with respect to the RoK legislative and regulatory requirements that impact operations.
 Advises on opportunities to optimize permitting and regulatory compliance activities/resources (TPD, EIA, applications, etc.).
 Investigates process flow assurance issues, process control queries, updating operating procedures and system optimization and troubleshooting. Reports findings to the PRC Manager. Contributes to best practices, new technologies and knowledge sharing to leverage improved functional responsiveness for the Project Team.
 Delivers process engineering support related to operations and commissioning of the project facilities. Carries out Process Engineering activities in accordance with applicable HSE practices and procedures.
 Builds routine relationships with different internal and external parties such as operations, environmental permitting, discipline engineering, integrated service contractors, vendors and engineering specialists from co venture partners.
 Supports reviews of permitting application documentation including TEO, PreEIA, TPDs, EIAs, and operating procedures. Reviews project environmental performance, licensing and reporting.
 Ensuring that the resources and infrastructure necessary to execute compliance management are timely identified and emplaced.
 Ensuring that the requirements of RoK technical law, rules and regulations related to production and maintenance activities are fully identified, communicated and verified to be executed in the operative work processes of both Project and its contractors.
