Requirements:
University degree in engineering discipline.
A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry doing Project Engineering role.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a leading role on major projects.
Experience in project development of Oil & Gas projects in both offshore and onshore environments.
Experience in planning, budgeting and cost control.
Knowledge/experience of addressing permit applications, local content development aspects.
Required Competences:
Good interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, communication and problem solving skills.
Experience in Concept Select, FEED and Execution phases of the Oil & Gas project.
Ability to analyze and to verify effectively, assimilate technical issues and develop means for problem solving.
Ability to integrate into a team environment focusing on project deliverables completion.
Ability to liaise with equipment vendors and interface with in-house technical specialists and other engineering disciplines.
Ability to work effectively with engineering, fabrication/construction contractors and interface management with Company specialists.
Ability to write technical / process reports.
Capability of working on multiple tasks simultaneously under time constrained conditions.
Proactive approach to decision process.
Full understanding of importance in planning and executing projects.
Demonstrate leadership and personal commitment in HSE.
Proficient with computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project).
Fluent in written and spoken English language.
Overseas work or study experience would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
Leads the project engineering and coordination effort on wide range of engineering, execution planning, tender preparation and permitting activities pursued as part of project development for Concept Selection, Pre-FEED and FEED, Engineering and Construction.
Deliver assigned projects safely and cost effectively.
Develop Project Execution Plans and other key project development deliverable making use of other function expertise (i.e., Construction, Quality, HSE, C&P, etc.) within NDD.
Develop Contracting and Procurement Strategies making use of C&P expertise and aligning market intelligence.
Reviews the validity/acceptability of contractors’ multi-discipline engineering submittals to meet Project Execution Plans, Contract requirements, Company procedures, technical specifications, project execution best practices and guides the contractors as appropriate.
Coordinates the activities with involvement of other Company directorates, NDD functional departments on information/data gathering, alignment of strategies/best practices to be applied on the projects, engineering solutions required for developing the project and better definition of the scope.
Monitors progress and performance of all contractors involved on wide range of activities, ensures their alignment on inputs/outputs, timing for deliverables, consistency of the basis, assumptions and information used.
