Requirements:
Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry both onshore and offshore.
Experience in front end engineering, detailed design, delivery and operation.
Experience in the design and operation of high H2S content facilities with stringent requirements in terms of HS.
Prior experience in major complex project is beneficial.
Required Competences:
Proven professional competencies acquired in performing/supervising engineering in O&G Projects.
Good technical, communicational and working skills.
Proactive approach to decision making and team works.
Proven organizational ability in a multi-interface and technically demanding Project.
Ability to work with and coach local staff.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise and support for procurement, construction and commissioning, ensuring the quality and cost control of the works according to the contracts requirements.
To review the Contractors design documents related to CSA engineering.
To assure the design is in line with the Company’s specification and in compliance with applicable standards and codes.
To interface with the others engineering disciplines Lead to properly and timely develop the projects.
To manage and approve the design changes originated by Contractor.
To complete the Contractors’ design and develop additional Company engineering in case if required.
To verify and manage the interface engineering of the packages designed by the different Contractors.
To support the Head of Technical Services Manager and Project Manager in processing from the technical point of view.
To verify the availability of required drawings in order not to jeopardize the sequence of the construction activities in schedule.
To assist the Project Team to achieve the project technical requirements.
To verify the completeness and correctness of the drawings and manage all the final project documentation to ensure the quality.
To ensure the development of local capabilities and provide on-job training of the assigned resources.
To supervise and coordinate the civil/structural/architectural activities in accordance with budget, schedule and quality standards.
To support the Technical Services Manager and Project Manager by supervising, reporting and updating on all the technical aspects of civil/structural/architectural activities.
