Requirements:

  • The job holder must have:
  • University Degree (One of the following: HRM, Social Sciences, Legal is a must)
  • At least 10 years previous experience with a medium to large company in the multicultural, corporate  environment(preferably within Energy/O&G)
  • Including experience in investigations, employee relations is preferable.
  • 5 years of in a senior role  managing teams across multiple sites/locations

Required Competences:

The job holder must have proven:

  • Influencing, Problem solving, Leadership, Diplomacy, Tolerance for Stress skills
  • Apply and implementation of the Kazakhstan Labor legislation (employee reps, collective agreement, disciplinary process, conciliation committee, collective labour disputesand etc) and other applicable lawsand NCOC N.V. HR policies and the application of company policies within the legislation.
  • Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment, with an ability to understand the effect of decisions overall in the company.
  • Applies creative problem solving to address business needs & issues

  • Must have a thorough understanding of employee grievance resolution, investigative methods.

  • Practical experience in managing complex ER cases, including redundancies, restructures, disciplinary and grievance cases and complex case management

Responsibilities:

  • Be custody, manage,implementand deliver streamlineddisciplinary process activities to align with and support Company HRO and overall Project strategies;
  • Provideactivitiesby means of processes, practices, instructionsprovidingtargeted stewardship and on-going guidance (such as trainings, roll out sessions, regular meetings and etc.) to Line Managers and Employees on the‘end-to-end’ process proper implementation, recommendations on gaps to be removed, improvements required to be takento achieve agreed service standard levels and ensure the delivery of HRDPeople Strategy (Line as a People Leader) and wider Project objectives;
  • Ensure the team process mechanisms and actions are strictly conducted in accordance with legislative framework(s) and Company policies & procedures;
  • Ensure proper registers/tools/statistics, filing systems, all required set of documents are in place;
  • Set and analysethe process KPIs,identify leading indicators, targets and performance measurement tools (metrics, etc.)
  • Ensure necessary amendments and changes in RoK Labour Code related Labour Discipline process are timely introducedto the process and rolled out  to Company stakeholders if required;
  • Serve as a focal point for the Process.
