Requirements:

 An engineering degree.
 Sound knowledge/experience of Production Operations including interface with Design, New Projects, Maintenance, Commissioning, Construction and Operations groups.
 Preferable a background in Operations Readiness and Assurance, Project Engineering, Commissioning & Start Up or Production Operations.
 Not less than 6-8 years of operations or maintenance experience.
 International project experience at concept selection, pre-project phases ,FEED, execution.
 Exposure to both onshore and offshore sour gas processing operations and/or project experience will be of an advantage. Having previous experience working in high concentration H2S environment would be desirable.
 Proven capability of working on tight deadlines-managing change and uncertainty, able to perform under extreme time pressure in a challenging and stressful environment
Required Competences:
 Demonstrated knowledge in the field operations and maintenance
 Strong knowledge of the ORA standard and deliverables especially for Pre-FEED and FEED stages.
 Knowledge of production Operations business processes, tools, interfaces, responsibilities and key functions.
 Strong knowledge of Operational and Asset integrity standards
 An HSSE driven mindset, especially with regards to sour gas operations
 Self-starter with a proven track record for delivery
 Good communication skills, fluency in spoken and written English including technical English.
 Ability to work in multi-discipline/cultural team
 Good problem solving and analytical skills
 Thorough understanding of complex operational issues and possess the ability to promote them (within a Project or Operational environment) to the appropriate level of Management.
 High degree of self-motivation capable of setting and delivering work scope against planned deadlines.

 Well-developed written and spoken English language skills.

Responsibilities:

 Represent POD within the project team by ensuring the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) requirements will be incorporated in the design. This may be done via incorporating the existing NCOC O&M best practices,
procedures and inputs received from POD O&M teams.
 Incorporate O&M inputs and review the key project documents such as FEED Scope of Work (SoW), Invitation to Tender (ITT), Scope of Requirements (SoR), Basic Design Package, Basic Design Engineering Package and other key documents whichever relevant.
 Manage the interface with POD in support of the project team especially with the Operations Interface Department (OID). The ORA lead engineer should be able to plan the level of OID support required for the project, interface frequency, resources and develop the Functional Interface Plan.
 The owner for the O&M philosophy who is accountable to update, seek the document approval via POD management and ensuring it covers POD interests for the production sustainability in the long term. The future asset owner training and competency development philosophy to be outlined in the O&M philosophy and later
be updated into training strategy and plan document.
 Coordinate the Commissioning and Start Up (CSU) strategy and plan document development process from the existing CSU philosophy. The ORA lead engineer needs to work closely with NCOC Commissioning and POD
teams during the document development process.
 Responsible to ensure the project logistics philosophy to be in place and well reviewed by NCOC Logistics department. The logistics philosophy should outline the Operate phase requirements where Logistics specialist support may be required to develop or update the document. The NCOC logistics constraints need to be clearly
highlighted in the document.
 The accountable person to develop and update the project ORA Plan. The plan should highlight all of the required ORA deliverables for the project by project stages. The inputs for the plan shall be derived mainly from existing NCOC O&M practices and inputs from various subject matter experts from the respective topics.
 Develop activity based OPEX estimation for project life cycle for a given concept and take ownership to pass SME review. The best practice is to use OPE$T tool which is already available in NCOC. To work closely with the local content department to estimate the local content OPEX level in the estimate.
 Responsible to identify and consolidate all of the operating mode requirements for the project by engaging various parties from operations, maintenance, process, discipline engineers, commissioning and start-up team. The operating mode register will be incorporated in the design and subjected to respective mode assurance
process.
