Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or Master degree in IT (Information Technology) and GIS (Geographic Information System) or relative disciplines such as Technical Data Science, Geodesy &Cartography, Geography, Earth Sciences
- Up to 3 years of discipline or relevant industry experience post qualification
- Professional GIS experience with extensive working knowledge with ESRI Arc GIS Enterprise Platform
- Knowledge on the functioning of the enterprise-grade network and IT infrastructure. Understanding of interaction with different IT teams to resolve and mitigate issues.
- Experience of standards usage and applications (ISO, IOGP, UKOOA, etc…) Knowledgeable in exploration, development and engineering data workflows
- Experience in data acquisition and quality control
- Knowledge of E&P business processes
- Able to lead continuous improvement Geospatial Information and Data lifecycle for data quality processes
- Experienced working with data manipulation tools, preferably FME (Feature Manipulation Engine)
- Scripting and programming skills (Python, SQL, JavaScript)
- Understanding of IM/ IT systems, such as Oracle, Electronic Data Management System or other relevant to Geo-
- Information Management databases and knowledge in database engines (Oracle, SQL Server) administration and management.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate GIS application with other Company IM portfolio
- Collaborate with Application support on GIS licenses including annual Maintenance & Support renewals and implementing new software package including evaluation summaries and business justification cases for new software
- Expert application support & advice on various systems, and software such as ArcGIS, FME, VGP, etc.
- Be responsible for the Quality and Performance of GIS system and service delivery to the company
- Communicate with the Business on the latest releases, announcements, useful tips, writing workflows and guides, sharing them across the whole community
- Be responsible for developing the GI Application and Data Management Strategy for the Company GIS community, ensuring Technical Excellence is maintained
- Interfaces with inside and outside technology companies, and retain familiarity with state-of-the-art applications and development options
- Promote GIS support in the business by building and maintaining the relationship with key user groups
- Maintain the geodetic integrity of data.
- Manage the web map application and develop a new map service to the GIS web portal
Arrange GIS/CAD support to internal Company teams by focusing on:
- Map Production and Cartography
- Geospatial data analysis
- Provide “Front –desk” services to Company customers focusing on mapping & cartography
- Assure “Back-office” Geo-information management processes (quality control, processing, and analysis) around geospatial data
- Mentor and develop junior staff, and provision of structured advice to other non-technical Company users.
- Involve and support Geomatics/Geo-Information Management pre-award and post-award contracting processes
- Prepare clear and regular reports, procedures, guidelines and workflows
- Gather, analyze, and integrate geo-spatial data required for the organization and determine how the best information can be displayed using GIS.
