Requirements:
· Project and people management experience.
· CAD drawing skills are an advantage but not essential.
· Computer literacy with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
· 10+ years NDT and or Welding experience, with 4 of them in supervisory or management position.
Good knowledge of steel structure and pipe welding procedures.
Highly knowledgeable in NDT (Non-destructive testing) techniques, standards and procedures.
Great knowledge of AWS, ASME, API, ASTM and similar codes and standards.
Good communication skills and command of English language.
· Certified NDT Level 2 in UT-MT-PT-RT-VT.
· Use of Welding, Fabrication and Machining Tool.
Responsibilities:
Ø Assume the role of lead technical authority for all welding and inspections activities/ operations in support of the provision of fishing, Inspection and OCTG services.
Ø Acts as the final internal quality controller for all work orders or service requests for both workshops.
Ø Supervises and coordinates all activities related to Quality Control and Quality Assurance of inspection of work or service orders.
Ø Coordinate resources (operational and human), schedules and activities to effectively manage and/ or execute jobs.
Ø Coordinate resources and liaise with internal and external key persons and/ or clients to ensure work is delivered on time and to a quality standard prescribed or desired.
Ø Work with the partners and clients to respond to client’s requests for updates on the status of their jobs and keep the communication channels open to ensure information is accurate.
Ø Provide regular reports and communications to the maintenance Manager about any issues within the workshops or related activities.
Ø Oversee the implementation of a system to record, file and store information pertaining to client enquiries.
Ø Liaise between partners, collaborator and clients’ representative(s) to ensure that quality issues are identified and swiftly address.
Ø Work with partners’ to investigate clients’ complaints and concerns arising from products or services non-conformance, and suggest appropriate solutions.
Ø Ensure services or work orders and time records are accurately tracked and or monitored.
Ø Ensure for the maintenance of well-ran, disciplined and properly maintained workshops.
Ø Oversee the coordination and planning of periodic (daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly) preventative maintenance of all equipment or asset within the area of responsibility / operation.
Ø Manages the sourcing and stock levelof supplies and raw materials in both the workshops and keep an adequate inventory level for emergency needs.
