Requirements:
· Bachelor inEngineering degree and 3 years relevant engineering, maintenance and/or operations experience.
· Field experience in metrological support or/and instrumentation gathered from any of the following are required:
o Process industry.
§ Oil & gas facilities.
§ Refinery.
o Chemical and Petrochemical Plants.
· Knowledgeable in the field of statutory requirements, permits and consents, legal compliance and official technical standards pertaining to measuring equipment and devices.
· Knowledge of State and International metrological standards, normative documents, best practices, and systems.
· Aware of issues surrounding high pressure and high H2S facilities
Required Competences:
· HSSE driven mindset.
· Must be a self-starter, highly motivated.
· Can work in teams with limited guidance and direction.
· Ability to quickly establish relationships to ensure discipline engineering processes and standards are consistently applied.
· Demonstrable interpersonal & communication skills.
· Energetic person with drive and stamina who is solution-oriented, and who can deal with a multitude of challenging issues positively.
· Fluent written and spoken Russian / Kazakh language.
· Good English language skills.
· Ability to write and review technical documentation in English.
· Computer literate withstrong knowledge in Microsoft Office software suite.
Responsibilities:
· Contributes new ideas and identifies opportunities to improve work area goals and objectives.
· Provides support in troubleshooting discipline related issues.
· Under guidance, carry out all metrology duties related to fiscal metering skids, troubleshoot and solve any issues associated with these units.
· Support verification and audit of process facilities for compliance with Law on Uniformity of Measurementsand preparation of the follow up reports, summaries and status.
· Support verification of complex measuring instruments, process equipment for compliance of established accuracy, complex measuring operations during technological process and product testing, and also measurements related to resolution disagreement between organizations subdivisions for assessment of accuracy and choice of measuring instruments and methodologies, prepare conclusions on base of its results.
· Supports implementation of Company Measuring instruments Metrological Certification process through attestation of measurement procedure by accredited laboratory and timely submission of Certification documents and other technical documentation required for obtaining relevant Certificates
· Support development and maintains Certification Plan, identifying all required Certification during contract stage.
· Manage metrological measuring instrument database ensuring that data is accurate and updated per field status and RoK Legislative and Normative documents status
· Have knowledge of and use Metrology software such as ISO or SAPR Flow measurements etc
· Under guidance, review and comment on any RoK legislative documents related to flow measurement, flow calibration/verification, flow measurements procedures
· Support Metrology group quality management system
· Support development of annual verification schedules
· Under guidance, analyze CMMS (SAP BP) for accuracy as it relates to Metrology
· Undertakes tasks and projects of low complexitywith limited supervision
· Develops effective working relationships with relevant disciplines and customers
· Acts as role model to promote strong service culture
· Visits Company onshore and offshore facilities to build a strong asset intimacy.
