Requirements:

University degree or diploma in Business Management/Project Management/Contract Management or related field;
6-8 plus years of senior level experience in Contracting & Procurement for major Oil & Gas projects with good commercial skills;
Experience with high value (above $100 million) EPC contracts and contracts of strategic importance;
Significant experience in both pre-award and post-award contract management;
Experienced in commercial negotiations, contractor management, claim settlement and major contract administration;
Experienced in working in a frontier multi-cultural environment taking into account needs of stakeholder and local market conditions;
Required Competences:

Strategic, conceptual and systematic thinking, communication and persuasive skills.
Good Standard of English language written and spoken
Good interpersonal skills with ability to work with and influence without direct authority.

High skill level in contract management, C&P terminologies, processes and its application;
Good technical understanding of major EPC projects, both onshore and offshore through past direct experience, together with commercial skills;
Working knowledge of SAP system;
Skills in various software tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Access);
Ability to produce written reports to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

Use critical thinking to influence cost and schedule outcomes.
To promote EPC contracting excellence and provide guidance to Procurement and Contracting personnel as directed by Project Services Manager and CP Manager;
Responsible to lead, coach, mentor, assess performance of, and develop all employees assigned by Project Services Manager and CP Manager
Responsible for implementing sound project execution processes mainly concentrated on EPC and EPFI contract types
Assist with the development of project economics, commitments and approval processes.
Ensure compliance with terms of any Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) and other external items such as annual work planning and budgeting (AWP&B), monitoring, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with contracting and materials management controls and audit requirements.
Promote and facilitate effective communication, teamwork, and alignment among NDD Business Services Team members other Company Directorates, and with Contractors supporting NDD Projects.
Provide EPC contracting support to a team of Contract Holder support staff, of various experience levels, in the provision of C&P services supporting mainly post-award stages and where required also, pre-award stages in support of New Development project teams additionally, when requested, provide similar support to C&P Engineers;
Champion the application and inclusion of HSSE within Contracts within the NDD contracts portfolio;
Work with NDD project teams and C&P/Legal/Tax functions to establish robust contract templates, including Terms & Conditions appropriate for major projects and suitable for various project applications including reimbursable, lump sum, unit rate, or other compensation models;
Work closely with Project Cost and Project Control teams to integrate data capture mechanisms to gather contracting & procurement data, unit rates, productivity, weights, dimensions, etc.;
Support contracting strategies throughout the applicable NCSPSA approval stages, submissions for tenders, contracts award and amendment proposals to the appropriate Contract Boards/TGA/ShaCom/ManCom and ensure that approvals are expeditiously obtained;
Support C&P in their tender, bid evaluation and contractor selection process to meet project objectives whilst ensuring best overall value for the NDD project team and Company.
