Requirements:

University Degree or equivalent in Geology or Petroleum Engineering;
Minimum 8-10 years of working experience in oil and gas industry including onshore and offshore activity;
Previous experience of working in multinational international company in a similar major and complex project;
Excellent knowledge and understanding of geology, reservoir management and field operations;
Required Competences:
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate across functions
Demonstrates and applies technical and planning skills, focusing on timely delivery and efficient performance;
Interface skills, abilities to establish and maintain good relationships with local authorities;
Ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual environment
General Requirements
Ability to learn and speak English and Russian or Kazakh in a business environment is considered a significant advantage.
Ability to work within a multicultural environment
Strong awareness of cultural and ethical issues.

Responsibilities:

Adhere the Company HSSE procedures and standards while performing the duties and require the same from Service Companies.
Ensure the application of the Company "best practices" in office and at well site.
Manage all well site geological operations for planning, follow up, QA/QC and preliminary data interpretation.
Manage the planning, coordinating and monitoring of relevant contractors and contracts.
Ensure future growth activity support from geological operations perspective, as required for Kashagan FFD, Kalamkas, Aktoty and Kairan;
Actively participate in the well target and design definition, finalization of Well Proposal and in well data acquisition programs and procedures in compliance with the Well Delivery and Reservoir Management processes,
Provide required documentation and participate in the tendering process for Surface logging, Logging While Drilling, Wireline Logging, Coring services and other services if required for data acquisition in the wells.
Ensure Operations Geology wells database is updated, maintained and archived in accordance with Technical Information Management procedures.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and requirements. Timely submit the necessary permitting, reporting and other documentations to appropriate RoK Authorities as per Company requirements.
Collaboratively interface among internal stakeholders across directorates for all geological activities in the wells
Provide support in the preparation of Drilling, Completion and Commissioning proposal and programs.
Provide required documentation for the handover of commissioned wells to Production Operations.
To cooperate and support Production and Technical Directorates with required data and information to meet the expected field production/injection.
Carry out Operations Geology activities required for other projects as Kalamkas, Aktoty, Kairan.
