Requirements:

·         Engineering degree or similar certification preferable.

·         Minimum 10 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry.

·         Experience leading or managing large ($50MM+), complex TARs covering multiple technical disciplines. 

·         Ability to lead without direct authority to get results.

·         Experience in a multi-cultural working environment and mentoring skills.

·         Demonstrated ability to work under limited supervision and to effectively manage multiple and changing priorities is required. 

·         Knowledge of local and international codes and regulations regarding plant operation and TAR activities.

·         Strategic focus and a proven track record of continuous improvement, including cost reduction and schedule optimization in TAR planning/execution.

·         Computer literate.

·         Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities:

·         Perform a gap assessment of existing Company systems/processes and organization based on industry/CoV best practices.  Develop action plan jointly with TAR/TAPI Manager to resource and resolve gaps.

·         Work with Competency assurance team to develop TAR specific competency roadmaps and assessment systems.

·         Develop and oversee implementation of an effective cost estimation and tracking process for future TARs.

·         Drive improvement in lessons learned process to ensure learnings from Company TAR/Slowdowns, CoV experience, etc. are incorporated in future TAR planning/execution.

·         Coordination of multi-discipline TAR peer reviews/assessments at appropriate times during the planning phase to ensure TAR teams are effectively leveraging CoV and industry experience. 

·         Evaluate overall Company TAR strategy and identify opportunities to optimize to ensure first quartile performance.

·         Evaluate technologies used for planning and preparation and recommend any upgrades or changes needed.

·         Effectively interface with others in the TAR organization to identify and share best practices and to continuously improve the Company TAR Model. 

·         Ensure meeting structure and communication strategies are consistent with best practices for planning and execution phases of the TAR.

·         Work with Communications team to develop comprehensive plan for TAR.

·         Participate in development of TAR HSE plan leveraging global and CoV experience to ensure benefit for next TAR and provide template for future TARs.

·         Facilitate scope challenge, cost and schedule optimization, discovery risk, and lessons learned sessions and ensure gap closure plans are developed and implemented to assure the success ofTAR events. 

·         Train TAR teams and leadership on TAR Excellence requirements.
