Requirements:

·         Tertiary qualification in Business Management or related discipline with substantialexperience in the relevant discipline.

·         10 – 15 years of experience, including 5 years on management role.

·         Experience in developing, planning, programming and delivering projects, preferably within a large oil & gas company context would be an advantage.
Required Competences:

The job holder must have proven:

·         Good interpersonal and effective business communication skills. and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff and external partners.

·         Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail

·         Flexible and able to operate with a sense of urgency. 

·         Track record of streamlining processes, making suggestions on improvements to CompanySenior management and other Management team.

·         Ability to prioritise resources, multiple tasks and stakeholder needs to successfully deliver events and projects within required deadlines and budgets.

·         Well-developed computer skills in the use of MS Office packages, SAP and website.

·         Knowledge of best practice contracting and tendering would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

·         Maintain regular contacts with Authorities and KazMunaiGas (KMG) Reps in order to pursue the best possible alignment with Company activities.

·         Facilitate negotiations/meetings with RoK Government for CompanySenior management as relevant to the scope of Company’s interests in the NCPSA as directed by Company`s Senior management.

·         Represent and defend Company`s positions in dealings with Authorities and KMG. Support and if necessary facilitate Government approvals process and discussion on issues which might affect activities of the company.

·         Manage the Company`s external interfaces as relevant to Astana office in line with the Company`s scope of work.

·         Provide regular updates to Company`s.Senior management on development within Authorities and KMG of issues of interest to NCPSA assets, prepare impact statements for the management.

·         Support the logistic organization of the MANCOM, when meetings are held in Astana.

·         Monitor and analyze Government activities to anticipate negative trends that could affect operations and Company reputation.

·         Represent the company in large national or international events when in Astana (KIOGE, CIS…).

·         Create and track a list of all important events (local and national) in Astana (meeting, visit, birthdays, burials, etc.), keeping Astana Liaison Office apprised at all times on national issues.

·         Organize and ensure necessary arrangements in Astana for the Management Team such as greet/meet. External/internal support and meetings management.

 

Management Responsibilities (if applicable):

·         Manage day-to-day activities of CompanyALO, ensuring its smooth operation in coordination with the relevant functional managers based in Company.Atyrauand ensuring the work related to the office service (logistics, travel, security, office equipment).

·         Manage the personnel of the ALO (over 20 people) in an efficient goal-oriented manner &manage the non-labour cost budget of ALO in line with relevant Company’s policies & procedures.
