Key Responsibilities:

• Providing technical support during the design, construction, commissioning, and operation of electrical equipment in accordance with technical standards and the requirements of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• Ensuring the technical integrity and reliability of electrical systems and equipment throughout the entire asset lifecycle;
• Developing and improving engineering and technical support and maintenance strategies for onshore and offshore facilities;
• Providing engineering support to production operations, including commissioning of new and upgraded facilities;
• Participating in the diagnosis and troubleshooting of existing equipment;
• Performing engineering and technical control of projects and changes at all stages of their implementation;
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining engineering standards, work processes, systems, and tools;
• Collaborating with operations, maintenance, and production project departments to improve reliability, efficiency, and cost optimization;
• Ensuring and developing the competencies of engineering and technical specialists, including training, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to national personnel;
• Maintaining technical interaction with international engineering experts and best engineering practice networks of shareholder companies;
• Ensuring the application of modern technologies and effective engineering solutions, taking into account cost-effectiveness principles;
• Ensuring effective technical monitoring and control of electrical protection devices and systems.

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in electrical engineering;
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, maintenance, and operations;
• Minimum 3 years of experience working at an operating facility in the oil and gas industry;
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience is required for TA3 level;
• Experience in implementing business improvement initiatives, including the application of modern technologies, optimization of solutions, and cost reduction;
• Experience in personnel development, training, coaching, and mentoring;
• Practical experience with PLC control systems and their integration, including data register mapping;
• Experience in Proactive Technical Monitoring of electrical protective equipment;
• Knowledge and practical experience with Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) and the IEC 61850 standard;
• Experience using the GOOSE protocol for control and monitoring of electrical breakers via TCP/IP networks in substations;
• English language — Intermediate (B1) or higher.
