Responsibilities:
- Lead and provide technical guidance on engineering and coordinate the work of engineering disciplines;
- Coordinate with Project Group specialists, including Safety, Quality, Operations and functional support teams;
- Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, specifications and project reporting data;
- Monitor the quality and timely completion of engineering activities in accordance with approved requirements;
- Coordinate engineering and procurement contractors, including monitoring schedules and deliverables;
- Review and approve contractor invoices related to engineering and procurement activities;
- Ensure effective interdisciplinary coordination of engineering and technical activities;
- Organize technical reviews, assessments and expert evaluations of key engineering deliverables;
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, procedures, HSE and quality requirements;
- Participate in project change management and prepare technical notifications and change proposals;
- Monitor the adequacy and qualifications of contractor engineering personnel and participate in progress meetings;
- Resolve engineering issues and contractor claims, capture lessons learned, and provide mentoring and development to junior personnel.
Qualification Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline;
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 7 years in the oil & gas industry;
- Experience in the design of oil and gas processing facilities with hydrogen sulfide removal systems;
- English: Intermediate level or higher.
