Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to Well Construction, Well Engineering and Well Intervention teams on drilling fluids and waste management matters;
• Identify, develop and implement well fluids systems in line with operational and programme requirements;
• Monitor drilling fluid properties, chemical and material stocks, drilling waste and other fluids-related parameters at well sites;
• Prepare fluids programmes for drilling, completion and well intervention operations and coordinate with contractors on mud and wellbore clean-up programmes;
• Identify operational hazards and risks, recommend mitigation measures and support the preparation of waste management programmes;
• Prepare and review technical documentation and reports, including technical specifications for tendering within the area of responsibility. 

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or engineering discipline;
• Relevant experience in drilling, well testing, completion or workover operations, including field experience; offshore experience is an advantage;
• Practical experience in drilling waste treatment and recycling, including waste contaminated with oil and H₂S;
• Strong knowledge of drilling/well intervention fluids, drilled solids separation, cuttings treatment and water treatment technologies;
• Experience with loss circulation zones and carbonate reservoirs, including techniques for preventing and curing circulation losses;
• English language proficiency at Intermediate level or higher.
