Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures compliance with Company., laboratory, RoK HSE, safety and environmental requirements, including emergency procedures and radiation safety;
• Completes required medical examinations and mandatory HSE, technical and laboratory training within established timelines;
• Performs workplace risk assessments (WRAP), supports Toolbox Talks, and follows Permit to Work (PTW) requirements;
• Conducts qualitative and quantitative analyses of water, aqueous fluids, soil and environmental samples using standard and specialized laboratory methods;
• Performs routine, non-routine, scheduled, unscheduled and ad-hoc analyses, ensuring accuracy, reliability and timely reporting of results;
• Prepares chemical reagents, solutions and calibration standards and performs laboratory testing in accordance with approved procedures;
• Prepares and issues reports for non-standard tests and supports complex investigations, root cause analysis and incident investigations;
• Complies with the Laboratory Quality Management System and ISO 17025 requirements; maintains data integrity and participates in laboratory accreditation activities;
• Performs quality control activities, including instrument calibration, statistical monitoring, qualification checks and corrective actions for nonconformities;
• Ensures proper use, condition, maintenance and availability of laboratory instruments, equipment, reagents, consumables and other assets;
• Conducts cross-checks of online analyzers and reports equipment malfunctions, shortages and other issues to responsible personnel;
• Maintains accurate records and data in LIMS, ensures proper storage and distribution of laboratory reports, and provides effective shift handovers;
• Maintains effective communication with laboratory management and internal/external customers regarding routine and non-routine activities;
• Supports training, mentoring, induction and competence assurance of laboratory personnel, including sampling and analytical methods;
• Performs other tasks and instructions assigned by management within the scope of the position.

Qualification requirements:

• Higher education in Chemistry (or equivalent);
• At least 3 years of work experience in the oil and gas industry and 6–12 months of practical experience;
• English: Intermediate level or higher.
