Responsibilities:
- Ensure the technical integrity, reliability and safe operation of compressors, pumps, gas and steam turbines, and engines;
- Lead the Rotating Equipment team, manage assignments and workload, assess performance, and support employee development;
- Develop and improve rotating equipment maintenance and repair strategies, procedures and programmes;
- Provide technical support for projects, equipment modifications, commissioning, start-up and complex troubleshooting activities;
- Participate in operational risk assessments, failure and incident investigations, and ensure compliance with process safety requirements;
- Analyse equipment reliability and operational performance and propose fit-for-purpose and cost-effective improvement solutions.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Equipment for the Oil and Gas Industry, or another related engineering discipline;
- 8–12 years of relevant engineering, maintenance and/or operations experience;
- Significant field experience gained within oil and gas facilities, refineries, process industries, or mechanical equipment vendors and contractors;
- Strong practical knowledge of compressors, pumps, gas and steam turbines, international engineering standards, and high-pressure/high-H₂S facilities;
- Proven experience in leading a small team, staff development, training, coaching and mentoring;
- English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or above.
