Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the focal point for regulatory control applications, including loop tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement;
  • Monitor, maintain, and modify process control applications, operator interfaces, and related documentation;
  • Support process optimization and technical studies to improve production, energy efficiency, and process stability;
  • Develop, implement, and support Advanced Process Control (APC) applications in collaboration with vendors, Engineering, Operations, and Control & Automation teams;
  • Provide technical support throughout APC project development, installation, commissioning, and start-up;
  • Monitor, evaluate, troubleshoot, and optimize APC performance, including routine maintenance and model tuning;
  • Establish APC performance baselines, conduct post-implementation audits, and maintain performance metrics and documentation;
  • Diagnose and resolve process control system issues to ensure reliability, stability, and minimal downtime;
  • Coordinate and support Production Data Management System (PI/PDMS) changes, maintenance, troubleshooting, user access, and system optimization;
  • Ensure eMOC/PCN actions, HSE requirements, documentation, and management instructions are completed accurately and on time, working independently with appropriate technical judgment.

 

Qualification Requirements:

  • Technical Engineering Degree, preferably in Chemical/Process Engineering background;
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Process Control and Automation Engineering in an upstream oil and gas project environment;
  • Upper-intermediate level of English or higher.
