Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, checklists, quality procedures, and inspection records;
- Review approved structural drawings, specifications, material requirements, and relevant construction standards;
- Compile quality documentation for roof sheets, structural steel erection, crane beam erection, bolting, welding, grouting, and associated works;
- Coordinate inspection requests with construction teams, QA/QC inspectors, consultants, and client representatives;
- Maintain material approval records, mill certificates, test reports, welding records, NDT reports, calibration certificates, and inspection reports;
- Monitor and close non-conformance reports (NCRs), site observations, punch-list items, and corrective actions;
- Ensure that documentation is properly numbered, recorded, distributed, revised, and archived;
- Prepare and submit quality dossiers, turnover packages, and final handover documentation;
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, subcontractors, and document-control teams to obtain missing records;
- Track documentation status and provide regular progress reports to project management.
Qualification requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality documentation for structural construction projects;
- Strong knowledge of structural steel and equipment erection, welding, bolting, grouting, and inspection requirements;
- Familiarity with applicable standards such as ASTM, ACI, AWS, EN, ISO, GOST, and project-specific requirements;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic document-management systems;
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Russian language proficiency would be an advantage;
- Previous experience on industrial, mining, oil and gas, or EPC projects is preferred.
