Responsibilities:

• Organization and control of compliance with the requirements of occupational safety, industrial, fire and industrial safety at the facility;
• Ensuring compliance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of occupational safety and health;
• Conducting introductory, primary, repeated and unscheduled labor protection briefings;
• Development and implementation of measures to prevent occupational injuries and emergencies;
• Development, updating and maintenance of local regulatory documentation on occupational safety, industrial and fire safety;
• Interaction with heads of departments, contractors and regulatory authorities on occupational health and safety issues.

Qualification Requirements:

• Higher education (in the field of occupational safety, industrial safety, ecology or technical);
• Work experience as an occupational safety and health engineer at industrial, construction or industrial facilities;
• Knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of labor protection, safety and industrial safety;
• Incident investigation and documentation preparation skills;
• A confident user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
• Availability of valid occupational health, industrial safety, fire safety certificates or international NEBOSH, IOSH certificates will be an advantage;
• English language proficiency (at least Intermediate level).
