Responsibilities:
- Promote Safety Culture: Foster a zero-incident culture by promoting Life-Saving Rules, Process Safety fundamentals, and the Company's HSE standards and expectations;
- Coordinate HSE Communications: Organize HSE campaigns, meetings, toolbox talks, inductions, and awareness programs, while ensuring effective communication of HSE bulletins, alerts, and lessons learned;
- Reporting and Performance Monitoring: Collect, analyze, and prepare HSE reports, statistics, KPIs, and performance metrics to support continuous improvement;
- HSE Compliance Monitoring: Conduct workplace inspections and monitor compliance with HSE requirements, particularly for high-risk activities, ensuring effective implementation of risk control measures;
- Risk Management: Participate in hazard identification, risk assessments, and the development and implementation of mitigation measures in line with industry best practices;
- Process Safety Oversight: Ensure compliance with process safety requirements, energy isolation procedures, safe operation of equipment, and control of hazardous work activities;
- Incident Investigation: Participate in incident investigations, identify root causes, develop corrective actions, and monitor their timely implementation;
- Contractor HSE Management: Ensure contractors comply with Company HSE requirements and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, participate in audits, risk assessments, and monitor completion of corrective actions;
- Emergency Preparedness: Coordinate emergency response preparedness activities, including drills, exercises, and emergency response planning;
- Operational HSE Support: Provide professional HSE support and guidance to Company departments on occupational health, industrial safety, and environmental protection across operational and remote sites;
- Regulatory and Corporate Compliance: Ensure compliance with Company policies, the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and international HSE standards;
- Corporate Responsibilities: Perform assigned duties in accordance with Company procedures, corporate policies, and continuous improvement principles.
Qualification Requirements:
- Higher education in Health and Safety Management or relevant technical disciplines. Degree in Drilling/Production/Projects Engineering or Logistics with practical experience would be advantageous;
- Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in HSE at Oil and Gas Industry;
- ISO 45001 certification;
- Proven experience in leadership of teams;
- Auditing experience and incident investigation skills is desirable;
- Experience of safety / ER Training;
- Work experience within the Maritime industry would be advantageous;
- Audit experience;
- English language level: minimum Intermediate.
