Responsibilities:
- Inspection of Specialized Equipment: Conduct inspections of specialized vehicles, lifting equipment, and machinery owned by the Company and contractors in accordance with Company requirements and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Safe Operation of Equipment: Ensure the safe operation, serviceability, and compliance of specialized equipment and vehicles with applicable safety standards;
- Vehicle Access Control: Coordinate and ensure compliance with vehicle access procedures for production facilities and Company operational areas;
- Permit and Documentation Control: Verify the availability and validity of all required licenses, permits, certificates, and supporting documentation prior to lifting and specialized operations;
- Incident Investigation Support: Participate as an HSE subject matter expert in incident investigations in accordance with Company investigation and reporting procedures;
- Lifting Operations Control: Review and approve lifting plans, and provide guidance and training to contractors on safe lifting and hoisting practices;
- Audits and Certification: Participate in audits and certification of lifting equipment and specialized machinery in compliance with legislative, Company, and industry standards;
- Database Management: Maintain and update registers of specialized equipment, certifications, permits, and inspection records, ensuring timely periodic inspections and recertification;
- HSE Compliance Monitoring: Monitor contractors' and Company personnel's compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSES) requirements, and analyze findings from inspections, audits, and incident investigations;
- Corporate Compliance: Perform assigned duties in accordance with Company procedures, corporate standards, and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Equipment Design, Civil Engineering, or Transportation Engineering;
- Recognized professional qualification in the operation of lifting, hoisting, and specialized equipment, as well as an auditor qualification for compliance with relevant standards;
- Certified Instructor for rigging, lifting operations, and safe crane operation;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), including experience on major industrial projects involving lifting and hoisting operations;
- English language proficiency: Minimum Intermediate level.
