Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) requirements and standards throughout all stages of the project, including conducting audits and monitoring compliance;
- Organize and supervise the Quantity Surveying team, ensuring high-quality performance, up-to-date information, and effective coordination with Contractors;
- Review, verify, and approve quantity surveying documentation, work measurements, invoices, contract variations, and Contractors' reports;
- Review project documentation, calculate material quantities, monitor material utilization, and verify Contractors' timesheets and work completion certificates;
- Manage project budgets, monitor costs, analyze the commercial impact of contract variations, and prepare cost reports;
- Supervise quantity surveying activities during fabrication and construction, measure completed work, and assess payments due to Contractors;
- Provide support on contract administration matters, review claims, disputes, and contract amendments, and provide recommendations to management;
- Coordinate the preparation of project schedules, monitor progress, identify additional costs, and maintain project change management registers;
- Develop and implement methodologies, tools, and processes for accurate cost measurement, analysis, monitoring, and reporting in accordance with contract requirements;
- Perform all assigned duties professionally, accurately, and within established deadlines while demonstrating initiative and providing practical recommendations to improve project performance.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline;
- A recognized professional qualification (e.g., Chartered status) will be considered an advantage;
- Experience working on Oil & Gas industry projects;
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry;
- English language proficiency: Intermediate level or above.
