Responsibilities:
- Support the review and analysis of engineering design solutions related to active and passive fire protection systems, fire and gas detection systems, and protective equipment requirements;
- Prepare, develop, and maintain technical safety documentation, including hazardous area classification drawings, fire and gas detection layouts, and protective equipment plans;
- Support the development and maintenance of Safety Critical Elements (SCEs) and performance standards;
- Participate in risk assessments, including preparation of supporting materials, facilitation activities, and documentation of results;
- Prepare technical safety documentation to support project and engineering activities;
- Participate in engineering investigations, studies, and analyses related to technical safety matters;
- Ensure compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices in risk management and technical safety;
- Continuously develop professional competencies in technical safety, risk assessment methodologies, and specialized software tools through training and professional development programs.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (preferably Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering);
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry within production operations, drilling projects, or operational facilities;
- English language proficiency: Intermediate level or higher.
