Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure the technical integrity, reliability, and safe operation of electrical systems throughout their lifecycle, including generators, motors, UPS, switchgear, transformers, VSDs, EHT, protection relays, and power distribution systems;
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, reliability improvements, and maintenance of electrical equipment across company assets;
  • Participate in HAZOPs, SIL studies, risk assessments, process safety investigations, and promote process safety best practices;
  • Support engineering studies, design reviews, construction, commissioning, and execution of low-complexity electrical projects in compliance with company, international, and Kazakhstan standards;
  • Develop, review, and improve maintenance strategies, procedures, inspection programs, and preventive maintenance activities for electrical installations;
  • Conduct site visits to onshore and offshore facilities, monitor maintenance quality, and support SAP maintenance and asset integrity programs;
  • Support competency development through training, mentoring, OJT activities, recruitment support, and development of testing and certification procedures;
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, participate in shutdown/turnaround campaigns, and support compliance with electrical safety and operational requirements.

 

Qualification Requirements: 

  • Field experience gathered from any of the following is recommended: Electrical vendors or contractors/Process industry/ Oil & gas facilities Refinery/ Chemical and Petrochemical Plants;
  • Bachelor’s in engineering degree;
  • 3 years relevant engineering maintenance and/or operations experience;
  • English language proficiency: fluent (written and spoken).
