Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies focused on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supplier diversification;
- Lead and mentor procurement teams to ensure efficient execution of procurement activities;
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define procurement plans and requirements;
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and technical capability;
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure favorable commercial outcomes;
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct audits to ensure compliance with contracts and quality standards;
- Resolve supplier issues, delivery delays, and quality concerns to minimize project risks;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and support long-term partnerships;
- Analyze market trends and supplier data to identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities;
- Maintain procurement documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations;
- Support HSE initiatives and ensure compliance with IMS, company standards, and RoK legislation.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering;
- Professional qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related technical certifications;
- Minimum 8 years of experience, including 5 years in relevant procurement roles; GCC experience is an advantage;
- Strong knowledge of sourcing, bidding, procurement processes, and contract negotiation;
- Technical understanding of engineering specifications and project requirements;
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, leadership, and team management skills;
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities;
- ERP/SAP functional knowledge is required;
- English language proficiency: fluent (written and spoken).
