Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project objectives, cost, and quality targets;
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define procurement requirements;
- Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers through market research and vendor assessments;
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to achieve cost savings and quality compliance;
- Manage the full procurement cycle: requisitions, purchase orders, shipment tracking, and issue resolution;
- Review technical specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with engineering standards;
- Monitor supplier performance through audits and evaluations;
- Identify process improvements and optimize procurement efficiency and costs;
- Maintain procurement documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations;
- Support HSE initiatives and ensure adherence to IMS, compliance, and ethical standards.
- Mentor and guide junior procurement staff.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering;
- Professional qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related technical certifications;
- Minimum 8 years of experience, including 5 years in relevant procurement roles within EPC/Oil & Gas;
- GCC experience is an advantage;
- Strong knowledge of sourcing, bidding, procurement processes, and contract negotiation;
- Technical understanding of engineering specifications and project requirements;
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills;
- ERP/SAP functional knowledge is required;
- English language proficiency: fluent (written and spoken).
