Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Focal Point for budgeting, cost control, and accounting activities;
  • Develop the Annual Work Program and Budget (AWP&B) alongside business communities, including its revisions;
  • Prepare monthly expenditure forecasts and variance explanation reports in conjunction with business units;
  • Carry out financial evaluations of tender participants and analyze Contract Board Submissions;
  • Assist in developing data for Kashagan Development Plans, 5-year business plans, and long-term OPEX scope;
  • Provide day-to-day business advice on planning, cost reduction, and efficiency to ensure investments align with business plans.

 

Qualification Requirements:

  • Higher professional education, preferably with an Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree;
  • 3+ years of accounting/budgeting/cost control experience using SAP Accounting System or similar, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector;
  • Professional designation (ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent) or a Master’s Degree completed or in progress is preferable;
  • Advanced software skills (SAP, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint) to manage large data volumes;
  • Knowledge of Major Capital Project Accounting, Joint Operations, and Budgeting;
  • English proficiency: Intermediate or higher.
