Responsibilities:
- Analyze chemical risks during field development and operations;
- Develop chemical solutions to ensure process stability and control corrosion, paraffin, and hydrate formation;
- Optimize reservoir performance using chemical technologies (tracers, zonal isolation, stimulation);
- Assess and manage HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) risks related to chemical usage;
- Evaluate the effectiveness of chemical applications and implement improvement initiatives;
- Define and align requirements for chemical dosing, application frequency, and sampling;
- Coordinate contracts for chemical supply and ensure compliance with contractual terms;
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, ISO standards, and internal company procedures;
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, providing technical support;
- Maintain reporting, analyze data (SAP), prepare analytics, and execute management tasks.
Qualification Requirements:
- Higher degree in chemistry or relevant physical science & engineering discipline;
- Some experience of driving business improvement in engineering, key words being technology, fit-for-purpose solutions and cost effectiveness.;
- 3 years of relevant experience in oil & gas industry;
- English – Intermediate or higher.
