Key Responsibilities:

• Technical support and consultancy on environmental permitting system matters;
• Interaction with state and regulatory authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• Participation in preparation and approval of environmental emission permits;
• Environmental support of projects and regulatory documentation;
• Maintenance and development of the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001);
• Preparation of internal and external environmental reports;
• Participation in audits, inspections and compliance checks;
• Development and update of environmental procedures and programs.

Qualification Requirements:

• Higher (or postgraduate) education in Ecology or related fields;
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar position within the oil & gas industry;
• Knowledge of environmental legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• Proficiency in MS Office;
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
