Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of customs documentation in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the sales of Karachaganak hydrocarbons (temporary and full declarations, certificates of origin, collection and analysis of commercial and logistics documentation);
- Monitor and analyze changes in legislation, inform staff and management, prepare recommendations and adjustments to contracts and agreements;
- Prepare presentations on customs matters for the Contractor’s Sales Committee and the Joint Sales Committee meetings;
- Maintain digital databases, regulatory documents, and the archive system of the sector;
- Prepare forecasts of funds required for customs payments and monthly memorandums for the Finance Directorate regarding advance customs payments.
Requirements:
- Higher education (marketing, finance, economics);
- At least 6 years of professional experience in relevant positions;
- Excellent knowledge of legislation and regulatory acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Customs Union, and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) regarding customs clearance of exports;
- Knowledge of the procedure for issuing Certificates of Origin;
- Understanding of the basics of Tax, Labor, and Civil Codes of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Familiarity with OSRP and related documents;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- English proficiency at Intermediate (B1) level or higher;
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to present clear arguments based on applicable legislation when discussing complex or disputable issues.
