Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the work of the team responsible for building the geological model, as well as other related working groups;
• Maintain and update the static reservoir model (in Petrel) along with wellbore trajectories and the database of process flow schemes for use in developing a new static reservoir model;
• Plan and implement workflows and projects aimed at refining the geological model of the Karachaganak field, and prepare corresponding reports;
• Prepare reports, work schedules, and other documentation to ensure effective management of workflows for developing the new static reservoir model.

Requirements:

• Higher education (university degree or above) in Geology, Drilling, or Oil & Gas;
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience;
• Strong or expert-level proficiency in Petrel (reservoir geological modeling);
• Ability to handle moderately complex technical tasks (e.g., full-field geological modeling) within required timelines;
• English language proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher.

Additional Skills:

• Basic knowledge of field geology and oil & gas production technology;
• Understanding of labor legislation and health & safety regulations;
• Familiarity with the company’s production technology;
• Knowledge of the purpose, design, and technical characteristics of drilling equipment.
