Job Accountabilities:

• Provide technical safety engineering services: FEED (Front End Engineering Design) and detailed engineering.
• Development of project scope of work, specifications, bid evaluation and ensure they comply with NO codes and standards, co-ordinate with other disciplines to comply with project requirements.
• Interface with design contractor to review, validate and accept technical safety engineering work and deliverables.
• Liaise and attend meeting with other disciplines, departments, project personnel, third party, vendors of design institutes as necessary.

Qualification requirements:

• RoK and international codes, regulations and standards;
• good knowledge of onshore oil and gas upstream facilities design and operation;
• process safety engineering principles for chemical process facilities;
• engineering practice for project concept selection, FEED study, detailed design, and follow-on engineering and close-out;
• deep knowledge of quantitative and qualitative risk assessment (HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, FERA, EERA, Dispersion modelling, SIL, SCE Identification and Performance Standards development, What If, FMEA, Check List Analysis and etc.);
• emergency shutdown, fire and gas, relief and blowdown and similar technical safety topics.
• excellent technical English and good writing, speaking English;
• technical report writing;
• time management;
• computer literacy.
• good interaction capabilities in dealing with multi-national workforce both within and external to company;
• risk assessment facilitation;
• managing HSE in Projects.
