Qualification requirements:
- Must have at least 5 years work experience in an oil/gas or petrochemical facility;
- Experience of shutdowns within the oil and gas industry would be an advantage;
- High professional (technical) education;
- Ensure that all materials and resources are ready to implement planned shutdown;
- Ensure all shutdown activities are carried out as per COMPANY’s Safety rules and RoK statutory and regulatory requirements'
- Provide support to Planning Engineers in developing integrated shutdown plan;
- Coordinate with all COMPANY assets to ensure all major works have viable work packs;
- Coordinate with GPD/Engineering to ensure that work packs are completed and approved prior to shutdown work scope freeze date;
- Provide support to COMPANY’s assets in co-ordination of pre and post shutdown activities by other specialised companies;
- Participate in the planning and approval processes related to involvement of other specialised companies in the works implementation or part of it;
- Track shutdown purchase orders, identify priority purchase orders, liaise with expediting staff and inform assets of potential delays and missing shutdown deadline;
- Liaise between COMPANY‘s asset and Shutdown Group to ensure all risks are included in the risk register and mitigating actions undertaken;
- Train and improve work skills of the department personnel and provide appropriate knowledge development for COMPANY’S employees within his competence;
- Must be able to work quickly, safely and accurately within a team environment, often under pressure from other departments;
- Must be able to organise the activities of a group of contractor’s personnel to ensure that the COMPANY objectives are achieved;
- Must have the ability to work with and understand the newer technology being introduced into the production complex.
