Job Accountabilities:
- Provide tools for risk management/assessment; to contribute to the setting of risk management standards;
- Facilitate risk analysis and assessments of process change utilising tools such as HAZOP, HAZID, What-if, etc;
- Provide support to departments of Operations Directorate during incident investigations and other activities associated with technical safety and risk management issues;
- Support development of programmes for KPO staff to promote process safety culture amongst the national and expatriate employees and to ensure the awareness of major accident hazards.
Qualification requirements:
- HAZOP/HAZID techniques;
- Working knowledge of Risk Assessment techniques, incident investigation, auditing and safety management systems;
- Technical compliance audit;
- Safety Case or DSI development and implementation;
- Emergency Evacuation and Rescue assessment and strategies;
- Processes and facilities design and operations.
- proficiency with MS Office applications and other basic office software packages;
- Business partnering skills to coach, support and challenge colleagues in all KPO directorates;
- communication skills in English;
- Higher education (University degree or higher) in the relevant speciality;
- Not less than 2 years of work experience as Operations Risk Engineer.
