Job Accountabilities:
- Accepts responsibility for the integrity of fixed equipment. Evaluates equipment integrity and corrosion trends for indications of equipment degradation and potential failures;
- Recommends remedial actions for correction or mitigation of defects;
- Must possess valid a API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector certificate and be registered in the API Certification Program Directory;
- Must possess valid a API 570 Piping System Inspector certificate and be registered in the API Certification Program Directory;
- Must possess a valid API 653 Tank Inspection and Repair Inspector certificate and be registered in the API Certification Program Directory.
Qualification requirements:
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience within the petrochemical industry performing “in-service” or shutdown inspections of pressure vessels in accordance with the inspection practices of API 510;
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience within the petrochemical industry performing “in-service” or shutdown inspections of piping systems in accordance with the inspection practices of API 570;
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience within the petrochemical industry performing “in-service” or shutdown inspections of storage tanks in accordance with the inspection practices of API 653.
