Job Accountabilities:
- Perform investigations, equipment surveys, feasibility studies, calculations, simulations, conceptual design, production of drawings, engineering reports and scopes of work, cost estimation, equipment and material specification and procurement;
- Supervise electrical pre-engineering and feasibility work assigned to external design institutes and engineering companies; maintain the progress and quality of this work;
- Report progress of all assigned work to the Field Engineering Superintendent;
- Participate in the risk assessment and hazard and operability studies of designs;
- Perform peer and inter-discipline checks on work by engineers within and outside the Projects Interface Department;
- Ensure the selection of cost effective designs and materials, taking into account operating costs and standardization of equipment;
- Control technical compliance of purchased equipment and materials.
Qualification requirements:
- Onshore oil & gas upstream facilities;
- Engineering practice for project concept selection and FEED study;
- Plant E/I in the oil and gas industry;
- Valve data sheets, F&G detectors and safety requirements;
- ROK and international codes, regulations and standards relating to piping engineering;
- Latest developments and current best practice in electrical engineering.
- Fluent communication skills in technical English;
- Technical report writing;
- Time management;
- Computer literacy.
