Job Accountabilities:

  • Perform investigations, equipment surveys, feasibility studies, calculations, simulations, conceptual design, production of drawings, engineering reports and scopes of work, cost estimation, equipment and material specification and procurement;
  • Supervise electrical pre-engineering and feasibility work assigned to external design institutes and engineering companies; maintain the progress and quality of this work;
  • Report progress of all assigned work to the Field Engineering Superintendent;
  • Participate in the risk assessment and hazard and operability studies of designs;
  • Perform peer and inter-discipline checks on work by engineers within and outside the Projects Interface Department;
  • Ensure the selection of cost effective designs and materials, taking into account operating costs and standardization of equipment;
  • Control technical compliance of purchased equipment and materials.

Qualification requirements:

  • Onshore oil & gas upstream facilities;
  • Engineering practice for project concept selection and FEED study;
  • Plant E/I in the oil and gas industry;
  • Valve data sheets, F&G detectors and safety requirements;
  • ROK and international codes, regulations and standards relating to piping engineering;
  • Latest developments and current best practice in electrical engineering.
  • Fluent communication skills in technical English;
  • Technical report writing;
  • Time management;
  • Computer literacy.
