Job Accountabilities:
- Supervise the preparation of all commissioning activities related to the Instrumentation discipline in cooperation with Contractor and vendors. This includes preparation of pre-commissioning procedures, commissioning procedures and detailed commissioning schedules;
- Supervise & Coordinate the EPC Contractor’s Instrument engineers and technicians, vendors, specialists and inspectors to ensure they effectively perform their duties in as per schedule and procedures.;
- Supervise the EPC Contractor in delivering the Pre-commissioning & Commissioning of the Instrumentation and Controls equipment and systems including all the components of the Integrated Control and Safety System e.g. F&G, ESD, DCS, the Public;
- Address and General Alarm System and Construction Site Surveillance System;
- Verify documentation produced by contractors (e.g. Data sheets, technical reports, specifications, procedures, methods statement, drawings, ITRs) ensuring implementation of established procedures and good engineering practice;
- Develop programs and calendar schedules of commissioning work and testing, submit for management agreement;
- Coordinate work of personnel and ensure reasonable consumption of reserves and materials required for start-up and operation of facilities and ensure continuous process during commissioning.

- Decrees, resolutions, orders, technical procedures related to commissioning work issues;
- Prospects for technical development of the venture;
- Principal production processes of the venture:
- Technical characteristics, design philosophy, purpose and operating mode of equipment, operation manuals;
- Methods of installation, adjustment and setting of equipment;
- Instruments of measurement and devices used for checks, setting and testing of operating equipment;
- Procedure and methods of planning of installation, setting and testing;
- Management of installation, setting and repair works, testing and maintenance of equipment;
- Advanced national and foreign experience in commissioning sector;
- Procedure of budgeting, purchase orders for equipment, materials, spare parts, instruments;
- Procedure of development and completion of engineering documentation;
- Labour Management, Production and Administration Fundamentals;
- Labour Legislation Fundamentals;
- Labour protection standards and rules.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and manage contractor’s activities from a position of influence and to deliver quality results efficiently under tight budget and schedule constraints to meet project objectives.
- Confident in management of interface with contractor and Vendor personnel
- Good written and verbal communication skills to monitor and supervise Contractor’s engineering activities and interface with Company’s engineering teams and other KPO groups
- Good Problem solving;
- Strong proactive team player.
- Proactive approach to decision process;
- Good technical, interpersonal and team-working skills;
- Competent with basic computer programs (MS Office as a minimum)
- Fluent written and spoken English.
