Job Accountabilities:
- Act as Focal point between EPC Contractor, Project Team and Operations for Handover Acceptance Certificate Coordinate and participate in walkdowns during Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning phases, subsequent punchlists raised against walkdowns and ensuring the accurate information uploaded into Project Completion System.
- Coordinates the EPC Contractor in order to make sure that the development and implementation of the Project’s Systems Completion database meets the technical and schedule requirements.
- Provide support to Lead Completions Management Systems Engineer in engaging with the EPC Contractors and Project Management Team to identify system completion requirements for the Project making sure that this are captured early enough in the Systems Completion & Turnover Plans
- Provides support to the Lead Completions Management Systems Engineer for developing SoW related to Completions & Turnover for each Project before Invitation to Tender (ITT), focusing on identifying most technically and cost effective Completions & Turnover strategy for each project.
- Request and review all the engineering data during Detail design from Engineering Companies in order to identify and develop Completions & Turnover Plans
- In coordination with Discipline engineers, review the engineering documentation during Detail design and Execution phase making sure that Joint Integrity Management (JIM) requirements are being followed.
Qualification requirements:
- In depth knowledge of Completions and Handover Management Process;
- Capability to coordinate personnel relating to construction engineering disciplines in area of responsibility;
- Capability of working on multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Pro-active approach to decision process;
- Good experience of pre-commissioning and commissioning onshore oil & gas upstream facilities and pipelines, preferably in both greenfield and brownfield environments.;
- Commercially aware with good knowledge of contract / contractor management, preferably for both reimbursable and lump sum contracts;
- Ability to carry out business activities in a multi-cultural environment and to exercise intercultural sensitivity in dealing with the Company’s socio/political environment;
- Good technical, interpersonal and team-working skills;
- Full understanding of importance in planning and executing projects;
- Working knowledge of all relevant discipline codes and standards;
- Ability to communicate well, laterally and vertically within an organization;
- Ability to identify the need for and manage the integration of HSE and technical risk processes into engineering and project solutions;
- Fluent spoken and written English;
- Proactive, organized, resilient, flexible, self-confident and assertive with the ability to motivate self and others to meet challenging targets.;
- Able to work in a fast-paced multi-discipline protect team, interfacing with other KPO organisational units and 3rd party organisations (e.g. EPC contractor) as required to successfully deliver the project;
- Fluent communicator in technical English, both verbal and written, including report writing and presentations.
- Able to deliver through influence as well as authority, whilst working in a multi-cultural environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Numerate and with well-developed analytical capability.
